More Wales

Our first night in Wales Marlene took us to see some ruins of a castle built around 1277. It was on top of a pretty knoll that we had to hike up. The view from the castle was very pretty as you can sort-of see from the picture below.
Caergrwle is the name of the village below....I dare you to try and say it right!



We just had to try a cheese and onion pastie while wandering the streets of Chester. Lynae almost seems afraid to try it!

Lynae and I are both putting our feet into the River Dee by the village of Llangollen, which is another pretty village we have been able to visit while we've been here.
