So, Shenna is on our town's youth council.
All year they look forward to going to the state youth council convention.
This year they each had to make a display to show what is great about their youth town council.
All the councils vote on which display they think is the best and the winning city gets some prize money to use for their city activities.
Well, our youth council's display won the competition!
Shenna says that they were all very surprised because there were some awesome displays there.
To quote Shenna, she said,
"We were just sitting at the table and then when our name was called, our jaws just dropped. We were so excited! We hadn't expected to win anything!"
