We celebrated our ????? Anniversary??

So, on June 3, 1994 Aaron and I were married in the Logan Temple.
We looked something like this.

Fast forward nineteen years (yes, I said 19!!)  June 3rd was an awfully busy day.
I spent most of the afternoon with Enoch at soccer try-outs.  I did manage to order and pick up some nice take-out from Chili's to bring home and eat.

Behold!  The children had created our own little alfresco restaurant in our yard.
Beautiful table settings and romantic lighting (not visible in the photo).
AND
we even had some very well-dressed servers who were very attentive to our every need.

Thanks so much to Shenna, Kiera, Sam and Enoch for making our 19th anniversary so special!

Spring Soccer Action

Enoch finished another successful season of soccer.
He keeps on learning and improving.
We have so much fun watching his games.

Spring at Whit's End brings.....Concerts!

When the end of the school year approaches, it brings with it many many concerts.
One of these concerts featured 8 different bands playing about 3 songs each.
Luckily, 4 of the bands featured Whitaker kids playing in them.

Samuel played his trumpet with the 6th grade beginning band.
Kiera played the French horn with the middle school's symphonic band.
Shenna played the flute with the high school concert band,
and both Shenna (on bari-sax) and Kiera (on trumpet) played with the high school jazz band.

I decided to share some videos taken that night at the concert.
You can appreciate, I'm sure, the difference between the two levels of bands featured.

Samuel's band - 6th grade beginning band -playing "Charlie Brown"

The high school Jazz Band featuring Shenna and Kiera playing" Dynamite"
