It's been a few years since we went camping with my brother Daryl's family. The last time we did, things didn't go exactly as planned.
This year Daryl and Aaron again planned a fun trip for us. Their plan was to head to the Green Mountain Lakes area of the Wind Rivers.
Then, paddle our canoes and kayaks with all the gear across the first lake
and set up camp on the other side.
THE AREA WAS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!
With so many hands, setting up camp was accomplished quickly.
We were ready to settle in for a few days of remote outdoor living.

Samuel and Jarom decided to take a dip in the lake.
No swimsuits? No problem!
However, I do think this may be the last picture of them in their underwear they will allow me to post
None of the girls were as adventurous.

We did encounter a few hiccups to our camping trip.
1. Aaron stabbed himself in the leg with his hunting knife
2. Teenage girls and nothing but the forest as your outhouse creates some whining at times.
3. Big winds, plus tent stakes in sand don't mix. Almost lost the tent to the lake.
4. Men can lead you astray if they aren't looking at the map
5. Billions of mosquitos can keep you trapped in a tent for a LONG time.
However, spending time with extended family is always a good way to guarantee a good time!
