What happens when you go with your dad to get the tires rotated on the car? You enter to win a contest. And, if you're Enoch, a couple of days later you get a call telling you that you won said contest.
The contest consisting of two hours at Rio Tinto Stadium playing on the field with three players from Real Salt Lake. I still can't believe the kid won.
I was the lucky parent who got to go with since we had to be there at 4:30pm and Aaron doesn't get home from work until 5:00 pm.
We had no idea who the three players would be.
It turned out to be
Luke Mulholland, a midfielder
Devon Sandoval, a forward
Jeff Attinella, goalkeeper.
Out on the field they had each player do different drills with the kids there.
Enoch's favorite was getting to shoot against a professional keeper.
And no, he didn't get any goals past Jeff. But he sure had fun trying!
After playing on the field, they came into the stadium, ate treats and had a question/answer session with the players. Then they all agreed to sign autographs.
Enoch brought his number seven jersey there just for that purpose.
On our way out, we stopped and took some pictures by some other neat displays there.
Not sure if we'll ever be back to that part of the stadium to see them again.

On the way home, Enoch called Aaron, and in describing the evening he just used one word:
FANTASTIC!
