Everyone should know that we really aren't American Football Fans.
However, if the Packers were in the Superbowl, we would be watching.
Since they weren't, we were just planning on life going on as usual.
Until, that is, my brother DeVere and sister-in-law Kris invited us over to watch it with them.
That same day, we realized that Enoch only needed to do one more thing to be able to move up to the 2nd class rank in boy scouts.
That one little thing that needed to be done before Tuesday's court of honor?
Just a 5 mile hike using a map and compass!
Luckily, this mom isn't scared of a little cross country hike in January on a Sunday afternoon!
Since DeVere and Kris live approximately 5 miles away from our house

we decided that we would walk there and arrive just in time to watch the superbowl.
Sam volunteered to walk with us. We bundled up and off we went.
Enoch followed the route on the map on my phone, and also used the compass accordingly.
It took us about one hour and 25 minutes to hike the whole way!
And, to top off the night, The Patriots -Uncle DeVere's team won!
