ARISE!

It doesn't seem possible, but Shenna's first year of college is quickly coming to an end.
She has one more week of finals, and then she'll come home for the summer.
Before finals, though, she had her spring concert with the choir.
She decided to audition for the choir -named Arise- when she first started school.
We were so happy when she got in!
She has had a lot of fun with this choir.
They've been able to perform at many different things throughout the year.
They put on a Christmas concert, but we weren't able to go to it.
I really wanted to go down for their spring concert and decided that everyone else
 really wanted to as well!
(I bribed the boys with promises of pizza and candy).

Of course it rained the whole trip, but I made good on the pizza and candy promise by taking the family to FAT JACK'S Roy's Pizza on Main Street.
Enoch only liked the candy.  He did eat a couple bread sticks, though.

After food and boring the children with stories of our college days and driving them around to show them our old haunts, we headed over to the concert hall for the Arise Concert.

The concert was wonderful!
Shenna was given the opportunity to sing a solo and was amazing!

After the concert we took some pictures in the lobby of the concert hall.
The kids made a "Shenna Sandwich"

We are so proud of Shenna and her accomplishments this year!
