Samuel's birthday came and went. Almost enough said there.
He really hadn't asked for much.
He just wanted a game. And surprise!
It wasn't even a video game.
He had a traditional birthday dinner and asked for a lemon cake.
Shenna sent him a birthday card that arrived on his birthday.
He also received new church clothes. He hadn't asked for those,
but the kid is growing so fast I can't seem to keep in in anything right now.
On Sunday, he was ordained to the office of a teacher at church.
I made him wear the new church clothes.
"The things a boy has to do for his mom."
