A generation ago, I sang in the annual choir fundraiser.
We called it a madrigal dinner.
Patrons came and ate a traditional medieval Christmas feast while choir members, dressed in medieval garb, entertained with story and song.
We had a great time, and it became a popular tradition for the community.
Fast forward so many years that don't feel like that many, and my daughter is in the same annual choir fundraiser.
Hard to imagine. But true.
Personally, I think she looks much better in the costumes than I did.
