One day, Kiera came home from school with a bunch of balloons
-they were already popped -
and announced that she had been asked to the Red and White dance at the high school.
I quickly asked, "by whom?" and her reply, "I'm not sure yet!"
She had figured that the balloons would have letters in them that she would unscramble to spell a name, but instead, they contained scripture references.
In reviewing each and every scripture listed,
we noticed that they all had to do with the "first" and the "last".
With a little bit of thinking,
we decided that it was the same person who asked her to her first red and white dance.
It's hard to believe that those two years have already passed by.
